Snyder Smart Systems specializes in Small Business service and support. We can provide solutions for a particular application or a complete turnkey installation of hardware and software, from the network to desktop solutions. Our approach is geared toward Business Solutions not just technology solutions. We don't simply provide technology to drop in your lap. We investigate your Business Requirements and then design to those requirements. We provide services similar to internal MIS departments located in large businesses, but with an eye to the requirements of small businesses. The only difference is that we consider your needs and provide a solution that fits, rather than simply providing a techno-solution that doesn't match your business model.

Although we work with most operating systems, software packages, and hardware brands, we tend to specify a platform using Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server if it applies to your business solution, or BackOffice if your systems are large enough. We also provide peer to peer networking solutions with Windows 95/98, Windows NT, or Lantastic, and cross platform support to OS2, Apple/MAC, Unix/Linux/FreeBSD, DOS and Windows.

The new millenium approaches and our support transcends the calendar event. There are two considerations for the future: Y2K and Business Information Systems. The Y2K is a one-time event and is planned and prepared for in all of our designs. But what happens after January 1, 2000? Your business is operating, but if you don't have Information Systems in place that can communicate to you, your clients and vendors; your competitors are going to pass you by. There are two basic parts to Business Information Systems. The first is a basic operating platform that includes systems networked together for sharing business information and processes. The second is connectivity to the world using the Internet. This may include Virtual Private Networking, Web Site Hosting, e-Commerce, a dialup connection to your local ISP, or something as simple as connecting an internal E-mail system to the Internet for worldwide communications.
